Can anyone shed any light as to whether the Excel/Storm Aviation deal is worth the ££? Rumour has it that those who were offered the job didnt bother turning up for their training.

The rate for rated/current B76/757 skippers is way below industry norm. Dont know how many were due to start this week and how many "turned" up.

As far as Im aware nobody was contacted re course details, times, locations etc.
Coupled with the fact some of the contracts from Storm were sent out last minute with B738 skipper contracts.
Skips bonded for £18k in one or two contracts. Why bonded ...already rated. Also coupled with the fact that we were told by Storm that the 757s GO in summer next year but "not to worry"!! Worried.. got mouths to feed, so most of us stay put.
Small industry we all talk among ourselves.

No base etc, no letters, s%$t money.

I think Excel would have seen a few more on this course HAD they taken on people themselves. Not too late to do this EXCEL.

Make the calls.
