London Stansted STN EGSS. That's where FR3258 (EI-DHA) is going to. It's just passing my office window in its way to runway 27. Should be there in 58 minutes.

GCC Maybe Little Snoring as an alternate?

Blackbushe aka Lorraine Kelly International :E
West Freugh,
Glenrothes - Fife International,
Nutt's Corner - very appropriate for Belfast
Folkestone? (near the race track. I've seen "Beware Low Flying aircraft" signs but never found the runway.

If you expand the list to include RAF stations past and present - with or without runways - the list becomes endless.
RAF West Drayton
RAF Sopley
RAF Gailes
RAF Hawkinge home of the Battle of Britain Museum (plug)

What about Twin Woods and Thurleigh? Are they completely inactive now? They were still in use in the 70s (Concorde did final BA pilot training there).

And there was Consett International Airport (Medomsley Road, Consett). Now buried under the Phileas Fogg Factory . . .

I think that Twin Woods is a housing estate now.

Thurleigh has various businesses residing there but I don't think it is an airport any longer.

I recall teaching Mrs G-CPTN to drive on an access road to a Crash Gate at Thurleigh (in 1972). Halfway through a three-point-turn a bloody Crash Tender bore down on us with horns blaring! I'm sure they were just having a larf, but I pushed Mrs G-CPTN out of the door and moved across and drove onto the grass verge to let them past.
