Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a need in NZ for more air traffic controllers and if so is there an opportunity for controllers from other countries to come and work in NZ?

If so can anyone give me a starting point or any useful contacts?

Thanks.

Yes..if you wanna work our little patch of paradise..training is in Christchurch and costs but you may have a head start due experience..

try here (http://www.airways.co.nz/airways_International/_2005/train_tech.asp#)

You might want to email them with your situation and get some real facts

Good luck

Without hijacking the thread too much, I think what we need here are controllers exposed to high traffic flow terminal areas like LAX LHR etc. Becuase sometimes I just despair at the controlling. I don't think it is a case of diiferent rules is it?
