There are 3 sets of villas in Al Baada that I know of. Do you know which ones and what kind of information are you interested in? If you have a villa number it would help.

Good sized newly built villas. Shabby standards of constuction, with poor quality fittings. Lots of stories of bad electrics and badly fitting doors.

Area near Satwa, which is fine, but a lot of the locals use Al Badaa villas as a cut through. On the upside Ravi's is nearby, cheap curries.

The yard/gardens are small.

Have said all that there is a great community spirit as most inmates are EK.

Up to 5 different floor plans now. The ones right on Satwa Road are the nicest inside, but they are right on Satwa Road with all it's noise :ugh:

There are two different sets of new ones. 43 Villas that have the three bedroom all ensuite bath plan. They are closer in to Satwa, but well off of Satwa road back in a neighborhood. The other 24 are closer to Al Wasl Road and Al Safa and have 3 bedrooms plus a study/office upstairs. The complex is actually 32 total, but EK are only taking 24 of them. Both have their plusses and minusses.

I like the location as it is a good all around area to be in. The one thing that both locations lack is any kind of grass play area for kids. There is an open lot near the 24 villas, we can only hope the government will see fit to make a park or community recreation area there now that they have built up in that square block :ok: OTOH they could put a mosque there ;)
