There are strong rumours that Fischer Air of Prague have gone pop and are now in liquidation.
Any one care to confirm?
Well, you might be right, I don't know, but I thought I'd read something somewhere about them changing their name. Might only be that.
As far as I understand, Fischer Air has closed its doors, while the travel agency continues operations as normal. Their customers will be flying with CSA. I thought the last commercial flight was on Nov.2 but rumors of Fishie's demise have been in the works for the last few months. What strikes me as odd is how a company that made such a tremendous impact on the charter market in the Czech Republic went out without anyone noticing. Good luck to all that worked there!

According to Wikipedia, Fischer Air has been rebranded Charter Air, to avoid conflict with the Polish affiliate, and following the departure of Vaclav Fischer.
