The C-17 has just landed in Lusaka (FLLS) 7th Nov, parked on the military apron, no idea if it is the same aircraft, imagine it is as there can't be many C-17's driving round the skies in this part of the world!

Stop at Joburg then on to Lusaka... assuming it originated in the US isn't this route a bit strange? Anyone know what the cargo is?

Nice machine BTW:ok:

Got to be up close and personal with that C-17 in Entebbe today. Parked next to it was a White House 737. Also the Uganda Migs were playing about and their MI-24 as well. Have not seen the Migs before but it looks as thought they were just streching their legs.
Cheers

You can bet that an unarmed C-17 would not be running around loose with Migs up. Take a good bet that there was a flying gas station and some F-16s/F-15s around at very high altitude just waiting for someone to springload to the stupid position.
