Can anyone advise me if Easi, relaxes it "NO scuba TANK policy".

An empty tank is just a bit of hold baggage, no different from any other baggage.

The small tank in question, has been on BA from Washingon, KLM from Washington to AMS, and then to London.

I am hoping to take it to Spain later this month, and have sent an E Mail to Easi, but would be very surprised to receive a response.

You might be lucky but I wouldn't count on it. Each airline has its own policy and you are expecting check in / security staff to know the difference between a pony bottle and a bunch of bananas.

You could try removing the pillar valve and bring a torch so they can look inside.

A friend had her pony bottle confiscated at Newark last weekend and they were going to do same with my dive torch as it has high-capacity batteries until a senior guy gave it the OK.

And George Bush has decided that cigarette lighters are not allowed but matches and 2 litres of 140% alchohol are OK.

Good luck!
