What is the story on a New Delhi airline named "Eastern Western Airlines" based...or trying to start up there with 737-200s ?

It is "East West" Airlines . Rumours going on for a long time. They were one of the more successful airlines in the first boom in 1993 (minted a lot of money when Indian Airlines pilots decided to go on strike soon after those guys started up) before it went bust! Used to operate 737 200 and a few fokker turboprops.
Regular press reldases that they have plans to start up, was apparently represented in a CAPA junket a few months back at BOM where most of the local aviation bigwigs attended, but not much other than that AFAIK.

Thanks for the info. The job posting for 12 737-200 crews gave the name as "Eastern Western Airlines". Also, the email address given in the post didn't work. My message to them cames back as undeliverable due to disconnected site. Not a good sign, I guess.
