Specifications (http://www.sj30jet.com/specs.htm)

Following a nearly 20-year development program marked by financial and management challenges, technical issues and a fatal crash in 2003, San Antonio, Texas based Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation received type certification for the SJ30-2 on Thursday October 27.

The TC approves the new twin-engine light business jet for day, night, VFR, IFR, single-pilot and “full performance envelope” operations. Remaining approvals, such as certification for flight into known icing and operation of cabin interior systems, will be completed before deliveries are scheduled to start in the first quarter of next year, according to the company.

When it first appeared on the scene it really did appear to be something really special, it is a real shame it ran into all the problems which delayed it so long. Still got pretty good spec but if it had come out a few years back it would have done really well.

Only accomplished after a large influx of talent from a certain heavy iron Flight Test Center. Congratulations to all!
