Can anyone tell me what the requirements are for a licence conversion from a JAA ATPL to a OZ ATPL??

Is this easier than converting JAA to NZ ATPL?

In short,

1. Get an ARN (applications forms available here : http://www.casa.gov.au/manuals/regulate/fcl/forms.htm ).

You'll also need to complete Form 639, and later use Forms 196 and 747.

2. Written exams:
a. CPL Air Law, and then
b. ATPL Air Law
(or the "combined exam" if you're eligible for it)

3. Flying:
Do a Multi-Engine Command Instrument Rating flight test.

And this might tell you all the rest... http://www.casa.gov.au/fcl/overbr.htm

Good luck! :ok:
