Note found inbound on aircraft. All pax held in Gate 14 and interviewed. Incident closed.

BFS flight then? This could explain the large amount of emergency vehicle sirens heard around this time?

GoEDI, encouraging to see you automatically assumed it was a BFS flight - might have been better if you had checked first before assuming anything!

Did you miss the question mark? Gate 14 is only used by BFS flights at EDI so it was entirely possible it could've been a BFS flight.

For a second, I was wondering if I'd left anything on board this morning's arrival from LTN .. thankfully it wasn't my flight!
Also (and as an aside) - we came into gate 6, which has an aerobridge ... why didn't they simply attach the thing to the aircraft, instead of getting two sets of stairs?

Cheaper/quicker is normally the reason given.
