Wah gwan da all a da carribbean pilot dem.

I am currently at the stage of commencing commercial flight training in the UK and would love to at some stage in my career, be it at the start or the end, fly an island hopping service somewhere in the beautiful Carribbean.

What kind of pilots usually work there and would it be possible for low hours pilot to get a job in order to get experience before moving on to an airliner?

Is it easy to get jobs out there, and how might I go about doing so?
What kind of licence endorsements are needed, is being able to fly multi-enging piston enough, or are type ratings generally needed.
Whats da money like? Id reckon its probably not great but that the lifestyle would compensate.

Cheers, Hedges.

Apoligies Capt Stable for posting this as a new topic, I didnt look properly in the forum. Thing is though if it gets moved into the other one about jobs my question about money will be lost and not get answered. Whilst my other points are covered money is not menitoned in the other topic!
Please don\'t move it, at least until I get and answer!
