No, not a word.

Don't have 500 hours, so I am pretty relaxed about it.

So, nobody do not know answers for JR's question as pay and rosters with Malmo Aviation but everybody seems like to work for them. Am I missing something?

Not a scanwing meself, but there is a course starting monday and pay is crap for the first years...starting is 80% of 2KEuro...and then the taxman will take his part...

friend who start will have trouble stayin alive on that pay... I'll send him some noodles...:}

That would explain why nobody from Malmo Aviation can't answer. But sure not why all these wannabe kids are applying to!

I hope the guys get an extra portion of crew food ;)

Monthly salary after a year is approx. 3000 euro, give or take depending on how your schedule looks. You don't pay for type rating! You get full coverage on applicable insurances incl a comprehensive pension scheme. Also included is a good loss of license insurance. You work on a 5on3off basis. Very stable rosters.

Considering the meagre amounts of jobs available in Sweden right now, I think it is a reasonable package.

yup, right seat....

no jobs in scandi?

I say we have plenty of jobs.....all but the big daddy are taking on pilots...

of course, the first job is still hard to get, but when things are moving around like nowadays, its a hellofalot easier...;)

I donīt understand that. You are right but I havnīt still got the chance and I think I should have one.

But it seems that 1630 tot with 1300 turboprop isnīt enough for our airlines........ Hoping for new recruitment drives soon!

Catans

Scanwing.

What kind of turboprop do you have? Single-eng. TP is not worth as much as twin. If it is single I understand, if twin...you should get a chance.

Scanwing

It is ME Turboprop ATR 42/72

How would 5500hrs 3000hrs jet and 1500 turboprop work out?

Kopeloi
16th Dec 2005, 02:39
Wrong place, Snow Pilot.. try with Malmo Aviation.
