Would not surprise me. The origional EI HQ (which I spend many happy days working in) was initially designed as a temporary facility with the forsight that it would eventually be turned into a hotel with EI relocating its offices outside the airport. Of course this never materialised and obviously now the building looks awful and is better off being torn down and replaced with a more modern facility!

Archiseek thread here (http://www.archiseek.com/content/showthread.php?p=40858#post40858)

I wonder if Willie Walsh (the seller of the art collection) would see this as backsliding - especially as he has just inherited Waterworld...

Love the way the A330 can land on the roof.

what amused me even more was the underground/metro.

Is that a staff only facility connecting to the car park, as there's no sign whatsoever of the Irish Government doing anything constructive in that direction within the next millenium!!!:E

Lovely looking image will give T5 a run for money on design!
