View Full Version : Registration of XP
This is probably a dumb question - but I have never experienced it before because all of our PC's are on internet connections.
A friend's misses has loaded XP upgrade on her PC which is not (and never will be) on the internet and it keeps giving them an "you have X days to register your software" warning.
What happens when that time limt runs out - how does he register any other way ?

You can usually register over the telephone with Micro$oft, just have the computer switched on and follow the instructions.
The other question - what happens when the time runs out ?

Hundreds of midgets dressed in Bill Gates masks will camp outside the front of your friend's house chanting, "You didn't register, you didn't register!"
Tell her to get on the phone and avoid the mess.
Buggah that - I want to go and see the midgets !

But maybe the context is wrong :ok:
Thanks for that one - but I much prefer a 'ponder' of midgets (the alternative offered).
A great site- I love collective nouns
