Are persons of Indian origin (PIO) card holders held in any special consideration for F/O openings? Any info greatly appreciated.

Hiya Left Wing,

Are you sure about the above??? From what little information i have, a PIO card holder is eligble to all rights that an Indian passport holder has EXCEPT the right to vote...well i could be wrong.......anyone with more info on the above,their help would be appreciated...thanks.........

thats what it says on the PIO card.
should be able to get an FO job. any ideas.

I am not indian but i make very good curry,also my x girlfriend had a cousin who got married to an indian.would i qualify for the position of first officer?

hello gents ....

wht is this pio...??? i am an idian origin guy who is married to an indian passport holder(woman of course...he he)..i live and fly in africa but working in india would surely be very lucrative for me and the missus who is too keen to this idea...i have heard about nri status and dual nationality being granted to proffessional foreigners of indian origin...but havent got a clue???? could somebody please help us...
