Does anyone know if a jet has ever been into Courchevel. Or even better, has anyone ever flown a jet in?

We're having a debate here as to whether it is too short even given the 18% slope.

If jets cant go in, anyone know why not?

Yes they have. There is a photo albumn in the tower. I have seen a picture of a Citation at Courcheval, but I think he didn't make a habit of it. It is a one way in - one way out airport. I would say a definite no-no for jets. Chambery with its 4.5 slope is a much safer bet. Local rules would almost preclude the use of Courcheval for jets, especially with its weather record.:ugh:
