35 hour PPL (H)

I have just started a PPL (H) having been told I only have to do 35 hours if I begin before the JAR's come into force in Jan.

Does this sound right?

I am an ATPL holder.

Any info would be much appreciated.

tell him you got the email address from the UK Pilot list via the Pilot mag website, 'cos that's where I got it from !
