Hey all

Is the Antonov 225 a regular or semi regular visitor to the UK?

So I could go see the behemoth take off!!!! :D

Very rare. Only been in the demo flights I believe. Never on a commercial flight I think.

Indeed. I see it is off to Keflavik tonight. Off to the US after a tech stop I suppose?

Is it only just back from maintenance? Haven't seen it out and about for a while - at least in Europe.

Fried Chicken

Your report exceedingly unlikely as aircraft still on ground in KEF as at 040640Z!!!! :E Slight problem

To be on the ground at 040640z at KEF (having arrived from ATH), it would have passed the UK coast (ie Norfolk) routing Northbound sometime overnight

So whats unlikely about saying that it is currently over the North Sea heading North last night so it could be in BIKF this morning?

I've heard of it being an occasional visitor to Shannon as well. It was there for the 100 years of flight anniversary. (no official brou-ha-ha or anyhting, but that's where it was. Nice to think...)
