Does anyone have any info on the Scottish Aviation Facility being used as the airport for Glasgow and Edinburgh from when it opened in 1939 until the end of the war as I always assumed that it was just their facility.
I doubt if there was much civil flying during the war anyway.

I 'asked a friend' and the response was "Archives at East Fortune have some decent info on that airfield. "

He was referring to the Museum of Flight at East Fortune.

Hope this helps.
