This may prompt a thousand echoes of cynical laughter, but can anyone tell me where the best place to look is for rotary wing job adverts - because I have only found one so far in UK via the internet, and I think that was a fluke! Is "Flight" mag or "rotor & wing" the best bet?

A good U.S site which occasionally has European jobs,Saudi, etc is <a href="http://www.justhelicopters.com/justpilots.htm" target="_blank">www.justhelicopters.com/justpilots.htm</a> or if you are in Australia, <a href="http://www.afap.org.au/serv05.htm." target="_blank">www.afap.org.au/serv05.htm.</a>
Don't know if these are any use but its good to know what is out there.

<a href="http://www.rotorwashinternational.com" target="_blank">www.rotorwashinternational.com</a> but mostly seems Canadian and US based. <a href="http://www.rotorhub.com" target="_blank">www.rotorhub.com</a> has a jobs page but never seems to have anything on it; <a href="http://www.contractair.net" target="_blank">www.contractair.net</a> occasionally has a few rotary jobs.

If you are looking for UK jobs, you just have to look in Flight International. You only need the 2 job pages at the back. You can usually manage to see someone elses copy though! I believe they do a web version, but my recollection is that it is only a precis of the hard copy magazine.

In addition to the previously mentioned websites, you occasionally get UK jobs in Helidata.com. Helijobs.com is another website but I have never seen a pilot job in it yet.

It may just be worth your while to cold call some of the larger companys. Just send in your CV and see what happens. I'm in the same situation at the moment so good luck.

I have been working hard to make Rotorwash International the best helicopter website on the internet. As you can imagine, it takes a lot of work.
