Folks,
Just a brief question. Landed with Easy yesterday from Rome at about lunchtime, on R17. But it seemed as if the wind was straight down R25...any particular reason why 17 was in use?
And for anyone who knows Ciampino, our pilot told us that we were taking off 'the wrong way' on the runway there, due to weight...does Ciampino have height restrictions or something in one direction that we had to take account of? There was no wind to speak off, and aircraft were using the runway 'the right way' before we departed! Would a 737-700 from CIA to BFS be anywhere near full weight? I would assume full fuel would go a fair bit further...
