Can someone tell whats that man in the from of the gear job?

I saw something like this in ATH, with Olympic A340...but there was two men one of them with a headset

Erm, are you sure that is the photo you are referring to? The two guys in this piccie are the pilots and I'm sure you already know that.

They must be the men who's job it is to check the flatter bit at the bottom of the wheel stays there even when the wheel starts rotating. In ensuring this it makes for a smoother less bumpy ride (on the ground). Sometimes when they fail to check this you will feel a series of bumps (not too dissimilar from driving over cat'e eyes on the road) as the aircraft move along the middle of the runway or the middle on the taxiway. Bumpy conditions are normal at the edge of both runways and taxiways, bumps there should not be a cause for concern over the wheels failing to rotate!
