Just booked a first class seat on United (B757) from MCO to SFO.
Just wondering what the seat/inflight service will be like? Has anyone done this sector before in first? Thanks.

Haven't flown United First in the continental US, but have done so many times between the west coast and Hawai`i. Generally, it hasn't been a patch on international business class, but that might be due to the rather ageing overwater fleet United operate. Cabin crew are usually very helpful & friendly.
Sorry I can't be more help.
Cheers,

C_R,
Can't help you with a pax experience, haven't flown UA in years and never in first.
The 7:45 am UA MCO-SFO is apparently the only nonstop on any airline.

which shows that it departed 3 hours late yeasterday (Tues, 27 Sept 05).

Well, it's certainly better than sitting in the back. Seats are four across and recline plenty, channel 9 the same as it is in the back. You don't get into the lounge. Just looked up the fares and first is $1000 more than economy, and it's not worth anything like that. Easy to get upgrades on United and suspect that's what most people in first have done.
