No jokes about police helicopters, please.

My friend informs me that 'somewhere on the Internet' is a video of a remote-control flying pig, along similar lines to the remote-control flying lawnmower.

No jokes about microlights, please.

Does anyone know where this video is?

They can also take to the water should the need arise.

It might float pigboat, if he settled it gently, but it would be in trouble if that tail rotor touched the water. :D

Thank you, but I'm not 100% sure if it's the exact one my friend was referring to. I think he said that, like the flying lawnmower one, you couldn't actually tell how it worked. Will point him in this direction and see what he says. :ok:

H-G and Geena ... I know a few people I could buy one for!

Gee: fancy some company over previously-mentioned festive season?

The Pink Floyd 'Animals' album had an inflatable pink pig over Battersea power station. Apparently the thing was tethered to the power station but the tether broke. That is pretty close to the Heathrow approach and yes ATC did get some nervous tentative queries about flying pigs!
