Boeing and Avion Group have signed final agreement for the pruchase of 4 B777F aircraft and options for 2 more. Deliveries are to begin in 2009.

Additionally negotiations are on the way to conver 3 Air Atlanta B747-400 PAX aircraft to into B747-400BCF ( Boeing Converted Freighter).

The combined value of B777's and B747-400's is approximately 1 Billion USD.

Air Atlanta seems to be a company on the move.

I just had a look at their website and the requirements seem to be very reasonable fo F/O's. 500 hrs of which 100 is PIC., CPL + IR.

They dont specify what licence, ie FAA, JAA or other is acceptable.

Is an Australian CPL/ATPL acceptable, do you need the right to live and work in Europe??

Just got email from them saying no further recruitment in 2005

so better luck next year or maybe 2009!
