Bonjour gals & guys

I am asked to ferryfly a Kingair from Europe to USA .
I remember having read somewhere they may be specific visa requirements for foreign pilots (non american )
Any info about that ?

If it's the case ? Where and how long to get one ?
Maybe a wise idea to deliver the plane in Canada to avoid paperwork & troubles ?

Best regards

Crew Visa may take some time. All depends how busy they are.Still worthwhile to contact your nearest US Embassy. Deliver in Canada and no such problem...

If you are going into the States as crew you will need a Crew Visa (C1/D) You need to book an interview with the embassy normally availble within 7 - 10 days The visas you collect the next day. There seem to be no exceptions, it has to be done. Check on internet, and book appointment for interview. It's easy but takes time !!

Kpoeloi & Farmer Jo, thanks for your advices .
I am in touch with the US Embassy here, I will spoke to the "lady in charge" tomorrow .
If it's too long a process, I will stop in Canada .
