Anything to do with the old 'Bush Pilots' company and Certain liasons with a jnb based freight conmpany (now defunct) - man you can make a movie about them!

Nothing like laundering a couple of million in a suitcase comes to mind.

This is a thread that could go on forever

One of the key actors has since ... shall we say ... been taken off the stage.

Then there was the mooi nooi who would leave her husband (an ex-SWA security policeman) behind in Windhoek to courier the $$$ to JIA.

Only her interest did not simply lay in keeping an eye on the stuffed suitcase;)

She had more than eyes for local lad who met the incoming $$$. Not surprising that after a night in an exclusive suite at what was then Ceasar's, the cash dissappeared and the soap opera took a delightful new turn.

Many a CPL pilot building hours on the freight run could contribute to this saga. :ok:

That would be the alleged broken window and stolen cash, then....

As captured on the Casino's CCTV...

We could write this story jointly. One line at a time! :ok:

You'd think to be a good scaley, two faced, lying crook that a person would have to be a bit brighter than that....:} :E :ok:

" I left the suitcase with the $$$ (reportedly from a certain Angolan Gen) on the seat in my car while we (Mooi nooi and I) went to have coffee at at a local eatery awaiting the collector for the $$$. Lo and behold when we came out of the coffee shop, my car had been broken into and the suitcase stolen" :\

The CCTV recording however showed another course of events in the parking lot of the Casino, well prior to the trip to the offee house.

Throw in a few more chicks, a BM, Helo and a yacht or two (all refinanced of course). Man the plot only thickened. They sure did play hard...the redhaed wasn't bad ... if you were in to that sort of thing! Oh yes pull the new CAA into it and yes a blind eye now and then helped a lot!

I missed the "Oh yes pull the new CAA into it and yes a blind eye now and then helped a lot!" bit.

What was that about? Is this something ole Trevor was up to that I missed??

Just the fact that the JNB freight operation lasted as long as it did, yes the CAA did their Inspections over a cup of coffee but the closure thereof was from the Financial institutions (as I said - refinancing and buying boats etc) and not the CAA suspending operations. Sorry diverging now off the original thread.
