I was just wondering if any Ryanair pilots or people in the know could give me an example of a typical day as a ryanair pilot. I know every base will be different but just an idea would be great.

Thanks

there is no such thing as a typical day,but it is not so bad.
five earlies,three days off,five lates,three days off.
early start between 0530 local and 0700 local, finish between midday and 1800 local.
lates start between 1030 local and 1500 local, finish between 2230 and midnight local.
all subject to delays e.t.c.
you are expected to finish at base you started unless tech. e.t.c.

you could fly six 1 hour sectors, four 2 hour sectors, two 2 hour plus two 1 hour sectors, two 2 hour sectors, or two 1 hour sectors.

if low on 900 annual hours you will fly the long days,if not shorter days or be standby/not available(cannot be called on the day,but can be changed up until then).
schduled days work chop and change.
you can assume for the five days work 10 to 12 hour days.if shorter then thats a bonus.you get used to the flying.but it does physically take its toll over time.
