Ok, so I have a problem. I recently used a spyware removal program, and deleted the spyware on my system.

However, since then, windows will not open some applications.

1. Adobe photoshop - its launching and then freezing.
2. Image previewer - not launching at all.
3. Other systems tools like printers are freezing.

Everything works fine in safe mode.

Any ideas?

Hope someone can help.

Daft Q - but you don't have any card readers, flash drives or similar in use do you? I have seen WinDoze get a bit confused on another machine, with one of these plugged in. What was happening, was that a card reader had been allocated the wrong drive letter on being plugged in, and that the apps were not available to the PC.

Like I say, just a thought...
