hey chiglet

the singer as you may know is Elvis Costello's dad

he brought out a series, maybe a box set called "The Great Unknown" and number 7 in that series is a CD called "The Dumping Ground" - the ad jingle, "Secret Lemonade Driniker" is the last track on that CD.

I am searching over a few databases to see if I can get it for you.

Good luck

Wikipedia says that the music was written by Bob Holness (of Blockbusters, etc.)

If anyone even thinks of now mentioning "Baker Street"...

Another challenge then as that one was easy for prooners - what was the name of the music and composer used for the Dulux Paint - "Painting by numbers" advert in the '70s?? I've never been able to find out and I'd love to hear it all through.

UniFoxOs,

Found that one also (I think). By James McMurtry. Do you want it downloaded and emailed? (Approx 4.5Mb)

Quick search on ******** found 3 copies of Lemonade, and 14 copies of 'Painting By Numbers'. I don't actually know the song, but I think it is the much sought after composition!

(sorry edited it as I'm not certain the legality of the software I used!)

Chiglet,

The one RM referred to is not the Dulux advert but another piece of music of the same name. Do you remember anything about the record you bought? Label, composer, correct title?
Cheers

Yes, I'd tried that but it doesn't seem to go back far enough.

Certainly is a good site and one I shall bookmark from now on but, it didn't go back far enough for the one I'm after.

80's, Kronenberg 1664 (I think - beer definitely), B&W footage of young lad playing football with old man, music was Scottish.

Can anyone help me out here?

Cheers
