The acquisition of Cape Aviation provides Signature with its first location on the continent of Africa. Located in the picturesque city of Cape Town, surrounded by white beaches and Table Mountain, the FBO has full aircraft and passenger handling capabilities, customs and immigration assistance, fuel, on-site catering and other services. In addition to standard facility features like a passenger lounge and crew rest areas, the facility includes a private conference room with seating for up to 40 people. Ramp side, Signature's newest FBO has three aircraft storage hangars and the expertise to handle all types of aircraft - including VIP, transport-category planes.
Regarding the acquisition, Signature's European Managing Director David Best, had the following remarks. "Cape Town is a growing business center as well as a major resort destination for the African continent. The Cape Aviation business fits well within Signature's growing network of global FBO facilities."
