I know that there's a related thread nearby, but could a Manchester-based Excel 737NG pilot please comment on his/her situation? Would you recommend it, are you trying to get out, etc, etc?

Thanks in anticipation - might stop me making another serious career error.......

Aiye, good luck on getting a reply!

I tried on here many a times to find out about Exel but you never get a reply!

Seems like you need to be in the masons to get into exel!

Jees is it XL or EXCEL???????????

A company that uses two names doesnt deserve it to be spelled right!

Hey 757operator!

I'm based at Gatwick but I do enjoy working for Excel. Been to Manchester a few times and it seems nice. The only problem with Excel, according to me, is during the winter. Since being a charter company you never know what to expect.
I'm not even sure what is going to happen yet. A few guys are going to Ryan though.
I am looking for another because I'm trying to find something more stable, as stable as it can be in the aviation business.
If you decide to apply I don't think you will regret it.
Good luck!

Thanks for that, much appreciated. In the 737 fleet, do you see any downside from the merger with Air Atlanta?
