paddyboy>I already know rapidshare, but the problem was not the hosting, but the authorization from the videos owner to post them other than by PM. Now I got it, everybody should be able to download and see them ;)

TheMonk>strange, because all other people seems received correctly the message. But now, it shouldn't be a problem anymore ;)

These videos come from the same flight. They show the explanations (in french), the startup sequence and a flight aboard a Bell 206.

You must understand and keep in mind that the owner/maker of these videos is the second guy who flight the aircraft in the right seat (at the beginning of the second startup sequence). It's the first time that he flew in a real helicopter (but many years of training using PC flight simulator program : FS2004. So for him, it was a transition from virtuality to reality).

Please, no polemic about the flight itself (I was also surprised by the low level/high speed over tree tops flight in a single engine, or the flyby below the high voltage powerline with a first timer student at the controls) :p  :ouch:

If you wanna thanks this guy (Christian alias Xiangdn) for sharing these videos, just put a message on this french forum (http://www.francesim.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=56934) (need to register to post, but if you don't speak french do it in english, there will be always somebody who will translate it in ;)), or do it directly in this post, I'll send him a link of this one.

The videos size vary from 30 to 40Mb.

video 1 (http://cg0.nerim.net/HelicoIzy1Web.wmv)
video 2 (http://cg0.nerim.net/HelicoIzy2Web.wmv)
video 3 (http://cg0.nerim.net/HelicoIzy3Web.wmv)
video 4 (http://cg0.nerim.net/HelicoIzy4Web.wmv)
video 5 (http://cg0.nerim.net/HelicoIzy5Web.wmv)
video 6 (http://cg0.nerim.net/HelicoIzy6Web.wmv)

just a last precision, it's not him who land the helo into the confined area at the end of the last video ;)

Regards

P.S. : sorry for my bad english...not many time for typing...:ouch:  :O :p :O

Hey B73,

I did do a search but here in the US, I was only able to find this kind (http://www.4lots.com/browseproducts/Wooden-Educational-Solar-Model-Helicopter-Kit.HTML)

Does anybody know where I could find one like in the videos in the US?

Sorry for being off topic.:\

i2gofly,

I take it you want it for your new baby, right?

If it comes to it I could arrange shipment from the other side of the pond. I rather like it to!

Did our man with the tools do the trick on your generator the other day?

Hey Vaquero,

Uh, yeah, for the new baby...yeah, that's it. It's for the new baby.:p Actually that would be really cool of you John if you could arrange shipping...I'll let you know.

It was the starter and yeah, he did an awesome job. We had no issues with during the Primm races. Too bad I cannot say the same thing for Coyne Motorsports (the team we were flying for) as they had all kinds of problems during the race.

If you're desperate, i2gofly, I can order you some over here in the UK then ship them over to you in the States. I guess you'll be able to pay me back via PayPal.

PM me if you want to.
