Latest information from the White House suggests that the New Orleans disaster may have been the work of a suicide plumber.

Quote from Airliners.net

A friend at Changi who works for the ground handling copany SATS told me today that the crew of UM's Flt. 770 operating yesterday from HRE was stranded after their hotel turned them away. Evidently, Air Zimbabwe hasn't paid the hotel for several months, and until the debt is cleared, they will no longer house crews. Rather than return to the airport, the crew paid for rooms out of pocket.

Air Zim is sustaining very heavy losses on the route to SIN and PEK. Evidently, planes are operating at less than 50% capacity. SATS likes this because its easy to turn the planes around (when they arrive on time).

Mugabe's "Look East" campaign is causing UM to hemorage money. Amazingly, UM is talking about expanding in Asia!
