Hi,

On my solo qualifying cross-country today I was tuned to Scottish Info when a US accented "NAVY 1" called up in an HE-52 flying at 500' en-route to Newcastle out of Leuchars. I assume it was from the airshow, but I'm unfamiliar with the type HE-52. Any one able to enlighten me on this aircraft?

Nothing there which sounds like 'He-52'. MH-53 perhaps?

Heinkel built an He 52 prototype in 1936, but I doubt it's still flying :p.
