Is this deafening silence hiding the clinging of armours and swords or do I hear the pen's screeching on the new contract ?

..the so called "Urabstimmung" is running at the moment, which lets allunion members decide (vote) on futher strike action.. As far as I know this will be running till the 5th of May when the fight goes into the next round...
According to the VC website,the ballot closes at mid-day 3rd may and a press conference is scheduled for 1500hrs the same day.If they have 70% in favour they are legally allowed to stike indefinately.

its the clinging of armours and swords!
We´ve got about 2 hrs to go (1300 UTC) until the results of the ballots are counted out.
First rumours state, that the results are 90%+!

...sorry, it was the third of may for anyone who hasn't heard it yet...
96% pro strike!
First action tomorrow, May 4th 0000-1200LT on all german LH stations. The strike is planned for the next four weeks - if there is no 'cease-fire' - to be cont'd every thursday for 24h each.

'yes':96.19%,'no': 1.3%, participation: 98% out of 4200 pilots
