Hey Guys/Gals:

I'm looking for any former beartrap bouncers from 423/443 1980's vintage. I left the old 'No life like it' in 88 and have been with my present company since then. I'd like to see how everyone is doing out there.

Feel free to jump in. All DDL qualified welcome and anyone else who cares to comment.

Cheers

PS With the explosion of exploration on the oil industry, there are many positions open in the offshore market.

'igor - firstly apologies for not being a Beartrap Bouncer - although I have snagged a few beavers in my time !!
...so just exactly where are these openings? Some of us have been looking harder that a very hard thing for that first, extremely elusive first opening.
Would appreciate any info...

Cor blimey you've snagged one!!!
Couldn't believe my eyes when I read this!
I was the standards officer for 423 in 1986-88. The UK exchange pilot with the Canadian Air Force. Did 406 first and some waterbird instructing then front line with 423. Loved the job but it aged me 10 years trying to fire up my engines with 200 gallons of sea water slamming down the intakes at 15 degrees roll!!! never mind trying to recover at night in force 6 with my donger having to land within a 3' x 3' box!!! Aaaargh it still frightens me today. What you doing and give me your e-mail so I can learn more???

Offshoreigor,

So where are all these job openings that you have mentioned in your posts? I have not seen any recent advertisements in the usual places and even though I have plenty of medium command time, IF, offshore etc, written inquiries do not seem to work either.
Any ideas?
