Vortex what...ouch!

Does anybody know what we are supposed to study for the new JAA CPL/H?

My understanding was you did the 14 fixed wing exams and then a further heli specific exam.

However it seems the CAA say not!

”We are currently having a bit of a nightmare with this exact kind of query, and
Trying to get a correct answer from the CAA. We have been advised by one of
the heads at the CAA that you can not do the full ATPL exams and then a Heli
specific exam, however this is exactly what Oxford and ATA are selling, but
we do not know how they can, when we asked if we could do that we were told
we could not. So we are desperate trying to get a confirmed answer by the
CAA”

If the CAA don’t know what we are supposed to be doing then things are in a right mess.

I was hoping to start studying next month but don’t now know what to study.

The truth is out there. Hopefully!
