Hi all, anyone know if there is an equivalent to the 737 cockpit companion and fmc guide available for the airbus 320 series.

Looked on transair and there is one but does anybody know if they are any good.

Thanks in advance.

I have the A320 guide from transair in my view i have no complaints about it, but if you check airbusdriver.net maybe it might help you, the site is full of information re airbus.

jetjockey737 try contacting Airbus Customer Services - Flight Operations Support & Line Assistance in Toulouse who produce an excellent series of documents “Getting to Grips with …” The following titles may have some of the information that you seek:-
Getting to grips with the cost index
Getting to grips with modern navigation
Getting to grips with fuel economy
Getting to grips with aircraft performance

These documents have been issued to operators on a CD, but they may (hopefully) appear on the web page ’Airbus Safety Library’ (www.airbus.com/en/corporate/ethics/safety_lib/index.html) where related subjects such as ‘Understanding Takeoff Speeds’ are posted.

Have a look at the impactink site at http://www.impactink.com/c-10-a-319320.aspx which has the Professor McDoo Airbus MCDU Study Guide which is very good plus quite a lot of other related information.
