Hi All

My brother needs to fly to London from Boston next May with his family, it's going to be expensive but I was wondering do most airlines have the same policy regarding ages for full fares? Any more kid friendly than others?

brother + wife + 4 sprogs 2.5, 4.5, 9 and 12 in the group.

Thanks for any help.

As far as I am aware (although please correct me if I'm wrong) most airlines have the policy of anyone over the age of 2 must pay the full fare.

The airline is selling the seat, not selling a child ticket.

In general - under 2's go for an admin fee only but have to share your seat. Some airlines give under 12s a discount - varies - believe BA is about 75% of the adult fare.

My missus says AA will do tkts for the 3 youngest at discounts up to max 50% off, but these are not available on all fares/dates. The 12yr old pays same as adult. Might be worth a look?

On AA to BOS, I'm seeing 75% as well for children 2-11 on published fares (http://dps1.travelocity.com/lognlogin.ctl?tr_module=FARE&Service=TRAVELOCITY).
