Have you heard of the epidemic virus coming to Aberdeen?

All BHL and Scotia pilots will get it sooner rather than later.

You'll just go sick and enjoy your day off.

North Sea skies will be quiet for a day or two, and then oil companies will start playing the music we all want to hear!

Just keep your eyes open!

First I have heard of this.

Have heard of the Norwegian's carrying out a "sick-out" at times over different issues but they are much more unionised than the Brits. I would be surprised if many NS pilots would do it, especially the younger ones in the present climate.

There has been talk in previous years of something similar but has never come to fruition.

If it works, great, but I would be very surprised if there are that many takers.

Agree that it hasn't happened before. That's why we have to start promoting solidarity among North Sea pilots in the UK sector, disregarding age.

I'm sure it can be successfully done. Brits can be united as well!

From the Oxford Dictionary...
Solidarity: unity, agreement and support resulting from shared interests, feelings, actions, sympathies, etc.

Good luck to us! :)
