Travel City Direct (TCD)

Hi, travelling to Sanford from Glasgow 3 weeks from now (Monday 26th Sept 05) with Travel City Direct on a 747

Have noticed that last few TCD flighst from Glasgow to Sanford on the Mondays has been departing late from Glasgow.

Does anyone know the reason for this? Has the plane to come from somewhere and is unable to make it in time for its scheduled departing time?

Any other news on TCD flights would be very much appreciated.

Well, the last time the TCD 747 was due to arrive in GLA, the captain was still in the car park at LGW!

The past few delays with it, AFAIK, have been due to the aircraft going tech. and being late coming up to GLA.

Once it arrives, boarding and loading is no problem - it's just the fuelling that seems to take an eternity.

Hopefully your flight won't be late, and hopefully I won't be dispatching it on that date.

Do you know how many buggies travel on those flights?:ugh:
