Yes colmac, it's true. You are frowned upon and left out in the cold without a title.

Us members who have paid our dues get all sorts of benefits - free holidays, company cars - you should join up!

(BTW - I paid to have no words! :cool: Less is more.)

I have been called a ' Count' on a number of occasions.

At least I think that is what I was called.

Does that mean I have a title? :confused:

Not having one was a definite advantage hereabouts in 1789. :uhoh:

If you have no credibility, does that mean you're incredible?

RiskyRossco
5th Sep 2005, 07:32
Errr, that would be "uncreditable". . ?

"Credible" = (adj.) believable, worthy of credit.
Further amplification greatly appreciated.

Pronunciation Key (krd-bl)

Yes! :*

Just you wait until I start charging to read anything after the 10th post in a thread. I'll soon have all you addicts forking out a monthly subscription. Those already with a personal title can expect a discount.

It's either that or we go back to a really sloooow server. :ooh:

I got a title even before writing my first post....I just thought supporting the forum seems a good idea.

Though I'm still waiting for the free holiday! :} (T'was my birthday yesterday, does that count?)

I do like the titles that come as white on white, though they're a bit hard on the eyes....:E

Ok, then! Seeing as i'm somewhat of a retard what would it cost (seriously) to have 'DXer - Hamming it up'???

Thanks for an equally serious reply:}

'DXer - Hamming it up' - 4 words x 5

= 20 of your English Blips I would have thought (assuming you don't want colour, italics, emboldening etc)

SamGuest

lol that is pretty expensive, but to keep the forums free they have to make money some how.

I'm still a stuck-up college boy so nothing from me yet :uhoh:

But come on all you wealthy managers and pilots can afford a small 20, what is that, like 3 minutes of your salary? :P (joke)

"Over 250 posts so far. Perhaps I should click here and order a Personal Title" Upto 8 words / 80 characters = 40 + 5 for the bold type = 45 (+ VAT?!) :E

Go for it: it'd be highly original!

PS. Borrowing Danny's http://www.pprune.org/images/3flypigs.gif

...is free! ;)

Having a personal title means you can do this and get a personal bolla kin.

I have sent cheque for a tenner for using the "Lets count up to a thousand thread" I'm sure Danny would appreciate any help with running the site cos I for one would miss it if it went.:{
