There was a PPrune entry on Wikipedia but it has been deleted in 2004. Fortunately (or not) the web doesn't forget everything and it is still available from other sources (http://www.grokpedia.com/en/p/pp/Pprune.htm) Pprune

Proffesional Pilots RUmor NEtwork

Like it says. A set of aviation themed forums with thousands of members, ranging from ATPs with 10,000s of hours logged, ATCOs, Enthusiasts, Engineers, student pilots, military pilots, helicopter pilots and private pilots.

Forums ranging from serious rumor discussion and aviation issues, to Jetblast, where the thread with the most replies is "The really really boring and totaly pointless snippets of information thread" and the general idea is to have a laugh.

Other forums allow wannabe pilots to ask the proffesionals about career plans, or for passengers to ask about the aircraft they fly in.

Just wondering why it has been deleted from the Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pprune)
