Can any of you wise Virgin boys and girls enlighten me with time to command in the red outfit? Is it anywhere near as long as the worlds favourite? Interested to see how the non-stop recruiting has affected things. Muchas gracias

Thanks Shanwick - considerably less than I anticipated! Is there still recruiting ongoing? If so is it still 2500-3000 hrs total with 1000hrs min on jet?

Yes and (more or less) yes.

Command is currently about 7 - 8 years for those who've already done 7 - 8 years! :p For those joining now, it's more realistic to think in terms of 10 years or more, as the current rate of expansion will not be maintained for that length of time.
