Anybody knows where I can get some SAAF stickers to put on my flightbag? or 'proudly South African" or 'made in RSA' or sumthin
Am over in the USA nad want to 'represent' as the yanks say....
Hmmmm ... I still have one or two of those stickers put out by the SADF in '88 when we pulled out of SWA:
It was a Silver Falcon Impala trailing smoke over the outline of South West Africa/Namibia, with the following slogan:

At JNB in the international departure area is a little shop that sells all kinds of stickers. (no SAAF ones) Pick one up next time you're incountry. If friends or family fly over to the States for a visit, have them pick some up for you.

Last time i checked, you should also be able to get some SAAF stickers at the SAAF museum at AFB Swartkops..

I have a set of wings as worn on the uniform if you want - dated one of 'em SAAF chick pilots way back when you see...

ps, I have a beautiful SAAF wallet and passport holder which Col Gagiano gave me when the harvards had their last show at Ysterplaat.......it's in my closet though.
