Does anyone know anything about the airline Braathens from Norway ? I heard that it was sold to SAS and the name Braathens will have an end pretty soon.

Some (if not all) of Braathens B737 Classics have been painted in full SAS colours but with SAS Braathens titles along the fuselage

As far as I know ....
Braathen was correctly bought by the SAS Group and the operation mergen/streamlined.
Brathen is now the AOC holder of the domestic Norwegian operation and a large part of the international flights out of Norway.
Braathen contributes to a large part of the operating profit of the SAS Group.
Brathen is a very sound and effective operation and deserves better than what SAS has done with them ...
A large part of the Braathen F/A's have been fired "for resons of efficiency" I believe, despite seniority and union agreements .... and they are fighting their case in the couts as we speak ....
