OE Virus

It appears I have a virus in OE. Each time I open OE I lose my internet connection! I can check my mail using the mail.blahblah.com type function, but has anyone any ideas?

I update on MSN a couple of weeks ago.

So, nobody has any ideas? Everytime I log into Outlook Express, I lose my internet connection!?

Can ANYONE shed some light please?

Have checked ad ware/ latest updates and fullsystem scan today...all fine!

Would appreciate any input.

Hi there. All I can think of is untick the 'Hang up after sending and receiving' box.

Think it can be found in Tools/Options/Connections.

Have you done a full blown virus scan? That, if updated, will tell you if you have a virus or not or do a Hijack this and post the result here for people to see.

:O BRL...and you were correct!!! Thing is, I never have that box checked as I have DSL!?? But, lo and behold! I feel a complete plonker, but thank you for helping out!
