I'm interested in moving to the U.A.E. and I'm looking for any and all info people many have on the situation over there. I have heard of people just showing up there and looking for a job, no idea how successfull it has been for them. What kind of experience do you need to get a good job over there? I have 1600 hour Total Time, 1500 PIC, and Canadian Commercial Multi IFR Licence. Most of my experience is from flying a Cessna 206 in Northern Canada into remote gravel strips. What kind of flying job if any could I get in U.A.E.? Also, are there many smaller aircraft operators over there.... e.i. King Air, Twin Otter, etc. Is it possible to get in touch with operators before you head over there..... or is it best to just show up??? I'm just starting to look into this so any and all info would be a great help. Thanks.
